Monika Williams currently serves the role of Vice President, Commercial Operations at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, a leading biotech focused on life-transforming medicines for people with serious diseases.

In her role, she leads a broad set of functional areas: Insights and Analytics, Business Data Management, Sales Operations, Marketing Operations at Regeneron that serves as an underlying layer to ensure the company can serve the needs of patients and medical community. In the past several years, she has been at the forefront of driving change and building an organization that is ready to meet Regeneron’s future needs. She has done this with her vast expertise and knowledge and, more importantly, by fearlessly challenging the status quo and conventional norms.

During her tenure, Regeneron has seen tremendous growth in sales of its mega-blockbuster medicines, e.g., Dupixent and Eylea, each witnessed launch of new indications and growth in existing ones, as well as the introduction of Libtayo with a varied set of indications in Oncology area. She has built a best-in-class commercial organization with capabilities to help launch many new brand indications and molecules in the next couple of years. She has demonstrated that this can be done with a tight watch on maintaining efficiency and nimbleness.

Monika has a track record of meeting and exceeding targets, but she is not shy of asking tough questions and challenging both her partners as well as internal organizations. She is passionate about challenging the status quo, whether it is to improve efficiency or increase product sales. She is spearheading change within her organization, with a clear focus on advancement. She has partnered across Regeneron with stakeholders from Marketing, Sales, Finance, Compliance, and Purchasing, to help them leverage the strengths and support of her team. She is instrumental in driving synergies between sales and marketing operations and seeks to deliver omnichannel strategies to drive further sales growth and customer engagement.

Despite having a high-impact role with a large team, Monika takes a hands-on approach to key projects and initiatives, which has been critical to the delivery of successful outcomes. Regeneron has evolved from being a medical and science-focused organization to now becoming a commercial powerhouse. Monika and her team have been key enablers of the transformation.
