Ashley McEvoy is Executive Vice President and Worldwide Chairman, Medical Devices, Johnson & Johnson. She is a member of the Johnson & Johnson Executive Committee and leads the global Medical Devices division for the Company, generating approximately $23 billion in revenue. She has more than 25 years of experience working at Johnson & Johnson, serving in leadership roles of increasing scope and responsibility in the Consumer Health and Medical Devices sectors.

Building on J&J’s rich heritage in healthcare, science and technology, Ashley leads a team that continues to display the century-plus Medical Devices pioneering spirit as they work to reimagine the future of health today. Under Ashley’s leadership, Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices has accelerated its ability to tackle the most pressing global healthcare challenges across four franchises in general surgery, orthopedics, eye health, and interventional solutions.

Ashley is a passionate people and performance-based leader who has delivered above-market results for all four multi-billion-dollar, global companies that she has led. Her disciplined approach to portfolio optimization combines a continuous investment in the core business while progressing areas of strategic importance with high growth potential. Since Ashley entered the division, Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices has executed approximately 150 acquisitions and strategic partnerships to round out the sector’s portfolio and enhance its ability to meet patient and customer needs today— and well into the future.

Equal to her focus on growing the business’ portfolio, Ashley is dedicated to environmental sustainability, cultivating high-performing talent, and fostering a culture of commitment to allyship, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). A Pennsylvania native, Ashley is proud to serve on the Board of Trustees for the prestigious and internationally renowned Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

She ranked #41 on Fortune’s Most Power Women List in 2019.
