Dr. Nicole Richie, Ph.D. is the Global Head of Health Equity & Population Science at Genentech, Roche. She is the co-founder/lead of Genentech Roche’s Advancing Inclusive Research efforts focused on developing solutions that broaden inclusion of underrepresented groups in clinical research to enrich scientific information and support optimal use of Roche medicines. She is also the Product Development Site Head for San Francisco.

Dr. Richie is a clinical development professional with over 15 years of clinical and translational research experience, including as a lead clinical scientist and business strategy leader in product development. She was recently recognized by PharmaVoice Top 100 Most Inspiring Leaders in Life Sciences Industry for 2020. Her contributions in the field of population science and inclusive research strategies have been published in peer reviewed journals and medical congresses, including; Journal of Clinical Oncology, Clinical Cancer Research, AACR, and ACSO. She has also authored publications in translational medicine and clinical research across disease areas and in early and late phase clinical studies.

Dr. Richie regularly serves as an invited speaker and expert panelist at events such as the BIO International Convention, Congressional Hispanic Caucus Annual Legislative Event, and most recently as a Keynote speaker for the 2021 PhRMA Partnering for Health Equity Summit.
