David Williamson is the Chief Information Officer of Abzena. Dave was previously Senior Director of Informatics for Illumina where he was responsible for the data analytics and data science Center of Excellence across Global Quality and Operations.

Prior to joining Illumina, Dave was Director, Information Technology at Biogen, a biotechnology company, where he and his team were responsible for the strategic technology planning, digital transformation initiatives and day to day operations for the manufacturing, engineering and quality functions. Dave served as Senior Director of Quality and Operation systems for Nycomed from 2009 until 2011.

Dave currently serves on the Board of Advisors for Technology Executive Club. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute as well as an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University. Dave is also a U.S. Army veteran.
